We've got some more goodies from the garden. Here is Dawn contemplating my Joy of Pickling book.
Yesterday Dawn made some more Sweet Tomato Chutney.
While she was out walking today I used a lot of the tomatoes and chillis. Firstly I made some hot chilli sauce from the cayenne peppers.
It is nice and hot.
Then I used a freebie spice mix from my last order with The Spicery, for Chilli Garlic Chutney.
Very garlicky and spicy!
It's hotter than the tomato and chilli sauce made last month.
Update Sunday 12th October...
On Friday Dawn cropped the last of the cherry tomatoes.
While I was at the Crossword Championship yesterday, she made a huge batch of Green Tomato Chutney, which I labelled this morning.
And now our dining room table looks like this...
Plenty there for some Christmas presents!
