Ready to Harvest

We retuned home from our holiday in the West Country yesterday to find our crops of tomatoes, chillis and sweet peepers had been well attended to by Laura and Laurence when they house sat for us last week.

This is what we found in the fridge.

And this is what we found outside.

We have some huge beef tomatoes.

Looking into the greenhouse you can see the yellow habanero peppers.

There are also red and yellow cayenne peppers.

We also have loads of cherry tomatoes round the back of the house and in the bed at the north-western fence.

We have sweet peppers too. Both large and red like this and smaller and yellow too.

Dawn will be busy harvesting these soon... and then the work to make the sauces and pickles will begin!
