We Will Rock You

This has been an annual treat, but this year's is the last one as William will be leaving in the summer... The King Edwards VI School musical. This year it was We Will Rock You. (schools edition). And what a bang to go out with!

William was playing in the Shagaleo Gigolo's band and, even though they were hidden down the side of the stage, he still had to get dressed for the part. Here he is with Nina (keyboards)...

Adam Evans as Galileo was brilliant, but star of the show, for me, was the feisty Ella-Rose O'Grady as Scaramouche. William's friend since primary school days, Daniel Bellamy, was rather good as Pop too.

The energy and enthusiasm was wonderful and the quality of the singing superb. What is more, the band were excellent.

We were asked at the end, "Do you want Bohemian Rhapsody?". Of course we did!

What a great night out. Who needs to go to the West End of London when you can see the show done so professionally here? Well done to all involved.

P.S. William got a rather nice card from Alex, the head of the Music department, who led the whole shebang.
