Family Brunch in Bedford

On our way home from Oxford today we stopped half way in Bedford to visit Laura and Laurence and take them out for brunch. We were joined by William and Nina and all went to Dadaji's Restaurant.

The food was excellent. See the menu here. As well as a brunch section they also have plenty of vegetarian choices. William had the Chicken Pakora and Naga Chill Katti roll and made the mistake of adding all the sauce before tasting. Dawn got him a lassi to quench the fire. Lol.

Afterwards we had a little walk along the river. We saw some kayakers practising at the Etienne Stott white water arena.

A nearby heron was unimpressed.

Well that was  lovely break of our journey and it was good to see everyone. And the food was excellent. Good choice Laura and Laurence. William carried on to Peterborough and we took Nina home to Langham with us.

A great end to our long weekend away.
