Oxburgh Hall - Snowdrop Time

This morning we took a trip to the Oxburgh Estate near Swaffham in Norfolk as it is renowned for its display of snowdrops. We last visited it in the summer (see here).

We started by visiting the woodland area and then did the blue Parkland walk. Here are a few photos.




















That was a lovely mornign excurion. A pity we didn't get any sun, but at least it was dry and the paths weren't too muddy. There too much of a queue at the cafe so we just waited until we got home for our lunch - it was just a 45 minute drive, although it took us a bit longer on the way there as we ran into the Downham Market Young Farmers' Tractor Run in Stoke Ferry.
