Kimchi

As it's the lunar New Year, I chose a Korean dish for our dinner today, Pork and Kimchi stew, from The Hairy Bikers go local.

It uses kimchi but, rather than use shop-bought, I made my own using this recipe. Some of the commenters suggest it bears little relation to the real thing, but it was quick and easy to make. As it needs to be left for 24 hours before using, I made it yesterday.

...the gingery and garlicky hot sauce.


It resulted in two jars full. I used most of one for the stew. What shall I use the other one for?


And how did the stew taste? Umami heaven!
