Tassel Pickles Back in Action

These appeared in the kitchen from the garden this weekend. Time to do some pickling.

The little green fruits are cucamelons. Nice fresh, but they soon spoil so I decided to treat them as gherkins and make a quick pickle with them.

Not even enough for a whole jar.

I don't think they'll last long. I wonder how many more we'll get from the plant?

As for the cherry tomatoes.... they are coming so fast we can't eat them all quickly enough. Time for some more Cherry Tomato Chutney.

Slightly more reduced than last year my yield from 1kg of tomatoes was just enough for 4 jars. Delicious! I must try and keep some aside for Christmas presents.
