We are now back from a great week in Craster in Northumberland
staying with my my two sisters-in-law Jilly and Jane and their husbands Ian and David (although Jilly and Ian stayed only until the Sunday) and my niece Bethany. Thanks for organising it David, and lovely to spend some time with you all! We stayed in the same place, the Harbour Master's House, that we had done in July 2014, but this time without Laura, Sarah and William and Chris and Rosie who are all grown up now.
Here are the blog posts that describe our holiday. It started off with beautiful, but chillier than it has been, weather... and then, towards the end of our stay, storm Babet came along.
- Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle Walk
- Craster Howick Hall and Beach Walk
- Craster Kippers for Breakfast
- Seahouses and Bamburgh
- Farne Island Boat Trip
- Low Newton to Craster Walk
- Preston Tower
- Storm Babet hits Craster
Thank-you all for making it a great time... especially Beth for putting up with the old fogies and brightening up our holiday.
