Requiem 2020 - Raw Mixes

Guy has shared some initial "raw mix"  recordings of our our work last weekend (see here).

Just us (multiple times) with the backtrack we recorded to. Here are the individual tracks.

Lacrimosa Raw Mix. There is a 20 second gap after the initial chord, but wait for the rest of it. Incidentally, I couldn't help noticing a resemblance in the initial passage before the choir enters to the start of Adagio from Rodrigo's Guitar Concerto (see here). What do you think?

Pie Jesu Raw Mix

Libera Me Raw Mix

We do sound like a bigger choir than just 16 voices. The Pie Jesu is especially effective with its Latin and English words for "I can't breathe" combined. It will be good to hear the final recordings with extra instrumentalists and soloists added.
