Remembering our lovely holiday in Northumberland last year, today I attempted to recreate the soup we had for lunch at The Ship in Low Newton on our walk from there back to Craster via Dunstanburgh Castle (see here).
Maybe I should have read my own blog from when I tried to do it before using sweet potatoes (see here). This time I made it from butternut squash with red lentils and some chilli.This was the recipe I used.
I assembled my ingredients.
I added some sweet red pepper to the recipe, and I also added a chopped Ring of Fire chilli from the freezer.
