Belgian Wheat Tripel

Today I bottled my latest brew, my Belgian Wheat Tripel. And I got 24 bottles out of it.


I designed my label, but found I had only 2 pages of 8 labels each. Time to visit Rymans to get some more. But this is what the label looks like...


Yes. From the specific gravity measurements before and after brewing, I calculate a strength of about 9% - spot on for a Tripel. I can expect "A golden beer with a subtle 'herbal' aroma and a full, malty flavour with a light fruitiness." But I'll have to be patient, it won't be ready to drink until April.
