Ickworth House Walk

It was such a lovely day today that Dawn and I just had to go for a walk before lunch... along with everyone else!

We took a trip to Ickworth House and did a circular walk up towards the monument and back. We went looking for the bee orchids we had seen last year, but we were maybe too early. We did see some early purple orchids, though. Here are a couple of photos.

We loved the buttercups.

Lovely. We enjoyed the buttercups, especially. As we left we passed a queue of at least a dozen cars waiting to get in. Just as well we came early!
