Dawn bought some ready-rolled puff pastry and sausages the other day to persuade me to make some more sausage rolls. Would they taste as good as last time?
I skinned the Lincolnshire sausages.
The secret ingredient is my
Spicy Tomato Pickle. I didn't have enough left so mixed in some of my
Cherry Tomato Chutney for one row and used some Christmas Chutney for the other.
Ready to cook.
The verdict? Yes just as tasty as before. Dawn and Sarah shared a second one leaving two to take to Laura and Laurence later.
