After Christmas I made a turkey and ham pie, but I had too much filling so I got some more pastry to make another smaller pie. So then I had some left over pastry!
Yesterday I used it up by making some sausage rolls. My first ever. I used all of the remaining pastry and all my pack of sausage meat, so thankfully have no more leftovers to use up.I used this recipe from BBC Good Food, although I cut the rolls into 6 instead of 12. Along with the sausage meat I used a combination of my Spicy Tomato Pickle and Cherry Tomato Chutney.
