Dawn saw something yesterday about this and today is the final day, so we went to have a look and have a walk around the estate before lunch.
We were there before 10am, but the car park was already full and there were several cars in the overflow car park.
Here are a few photos.
We saw this couple trying a trick shot...
I tried a partial solar eclipse here, but the sun was too bright.
Then we went on our walk. We saw lots of lambs.
Look how blue and cloudless the sky is.
We saw these pretty cornflowers in the walled garden.
The summerhouse is still fenced off.
The lake was remarkably clear.
The River Linnet, which was flowing well back in February has now completely dried up.
We found a rhododendron bush in flower.
As we were passing by, we visited the monument.
We like following this path down the hill through a meadow instead of staying in the trees.
Some black lambs in the shade of this tree. Dawn wondered if they move round to follow the shadow and stay out of the sun.
We got back to the car about 12 pm and the place was getting very busy. But we had a a great morning and worked up an appetite for our Sunday lunch - Lemony Lamb kebabs and Greek salad today.
