<brag> Indulge me if you will... As you know,  I do The Times crosswords. And on alternate Fridays I write the blog for Times for The Times of the Quick Cryptic Crossword. Well it wasn't my turn today, but I do them all every day anyway. And today I had a PB (Personal Best) taking 25 seconds off my fastest time ever for a Quick Crossword...

I need to write faster or learn to touch type and do it online to get any quicker! I think my time of 3 minutes 2 seconds qualifies me as a member of the QCF1C - Quick Crossword Formula One Club. On the Times Crossword Club site, of known genuine solvers, only Verlaine, who came 2nd in this year's Times Crossword Championships Finals, was faster. </brag>.
