Mount Road Wildflowers

I was out for a walk yesterday and came back from town via Mount Road for a change. As I walked along the footpath beside the cycle lane, I was enjoying the wild flower verge when I came across some chalk writing at the edge of the path. And as I climbed the hill I came across several more.... Someone had helpfully signposted some of the flowers to be seen.

This wasn't a great specimen..

I had never heard of this..

The Sanfoin. Very pretty.

Here are someone else's photos of the flower elsewhere.

And finally, towards the top of the hill, thee was this...

Lovely!
