Down With Skool!

Today was Dawn's last day of teaching!

She officially finishes work at the end of August and retires on her birthday a few days later, She had a leaving presentation after school and then they had a barbecue. But we had to wait to celebrate as we were heading north to York this evening for... well see tomorrow's post! I took a bottle of prosecco for us to enjoy when we got there.

Congratulations! I look forward to a summer without Dawn disappearing off to school to paint her classroom and prepare lessons for the coming term.

We are staying a Camaraderie Guesthouse quite close to the University.

Very comfortable.

The little fridge contained complementary food and drink.

The local guide was handwritten.

I gave her the package sister Kirsty had sent for her retirement. We love the ladybird book.
