Today we went for a favourite walk from Culford Village Hall to see some snowdrops.
We were surprised that, for this time of year, the paths weren't muddy, so that was a bonus. This was our route,
Here are a few photos.
We parked at the Village Hall.
We were soon on the snowdrop path.
We were on both the Lark Valley Path and the St Edmund Way.
The main building of Culford School.
We visited
St. Mary's Church at West Stow and admired the stained glass.
These are the fragments of mediaeval glass in the tower.
..and through the grounds of the school. There was a muntjac deer here...
...and some Egyptian geese.
We passed the school main building....
..and some more snowdrops in the school grounds.
Lovely!. And only 3.8 miles, which was just the right distance for a walk before our Sunday lunch. You can find more details our route here on MapMyWalk (or download a GPX file here).
