Next week I am leading a walk from the Hen Reed Beds Nature Reserve near Southwold and yesterday I did an early morning recce.
It was really cold and frosty (-2 degrees at the start) and some of the views were rather atmospheric. No spoilers on the route, but here are a few of my photos from yesterday.
The paths were frozen to start with, but had mostly melted by the time I got back and were rather slippery in places. Nothing impassable or deep, but soles with a good grip will be necessary next week, I think.
You can see more of my photos here on Flickr.
