Today we reached F in our alphabet of walks with a sunrise walk at Felixstowe.
As Joyce is away at the moment, we were led today by Roland.
Here are the instructions for joining the walk.
"Wednesday February 5th F for Felixstowe. Roland is kindly leading a Felixstowe Sunrise walk at 7.20am . The parking arrangement has changed as the Ferry Boat Inn layby is currently out of use. Therefore pls notify Roland so that he can get in touch with you should he need to cancel or re-arrange for Thursday Feb 6th in case of inclement weather. He will also inform you of the new parking spot. Public toilets are available later into the walk at Cliff Road. Sunrise is 7.28am. Roland is planning to stop for breakfast at the Viewpointe/Landguard Cafe (walk halfway / turnaround point) but do bring snacks/drink. The walk is approx 11 miles and is an out and back to the docks."
Well that was lovely... and we saw the sunrise again, as we had done last year. Thank-you Roland for organising and leading us and to the others for the additional company.
