Easter Celebrations

We have had nearly a houseful for Easter. Sarah and Ethan couldn't come as they are dog-sitting in Essex,  but William, Laura and Laurence were all here.

On Friday I had a first go at making hot cross buns. Here they are after coming out the oven. Theyve all gone now.

We had our Easter Sunday dinner in the dining room yesterday.

Dawn had made some Easter crackers from a kit from Sarah...

Each had some mini eggs inside and joke. The leftover eggs went on the table.

Can you see the bunny ears? Yes we all had bunny ears to wear during dinner! Here we are at the table.

The traditional roast leg of lamb was very tasty, with enough leftovers for kebabs tonight and a stir-fry to come on Wednesday.

And then the gaming began...

...with Dipsticks. Thank-you Kirsty for that.
