On our way home from Eastbourne today we made use of our National Trust membership to visit Scotney Castle, near Tunbridge Wells in Kent.
It was well worth the slight detour as the gardens were full of colour and the weather perfect for visiting.

We stayed for a good couple of hours but we still had a good journey home and got there before 3pm. Well worth a visit. You can see more of my photos here on Flickr.
