Kersey Mill and Lavenham Walks

Kirsty and David are still with us and today I took them to do a circular walk from Kersey Mill via Kersey and then we stopped off on our way home at Lavenham for a short meander.

This was our route.

It is a shorter version of this walk I did with Dawn recently and I discovered when I saw this Discover Suffolk leaflet in the church, we were following almost exactly the same route as the  Copse and Tye route in that.

Here are a few photos I managed to leave my camera in the car, so they are just from my phone on the walk.

And hen it was to the mill.

And here are some photos of Lavenham

The Giuldhall.

Little Hall.

Water Street.

De Vere Hall aka the Harry Potter House.

The Crooked House had an MG parked outside.

Of course we had to have an ice-cream before we went.

You can find more details of our 4.5 mile Kersey Mill route here on MapMyWalk (or download a GPX file here) or the Discover Suffolk leaflet.

Another lovely day out. Sadly, Kirsty and David are off home tomorrow and there is still much to explore that they haven't seen. Come back soon!
