Beverley Visits Suffolk

Last seen here in Jun 2018 at the end of the Wainwright Coast-to-Coast Walk (see here), my Australian friend Beverley and fellow Wild Women are back, this time to do two weeks of walking in, first the Western Highlands of Scotland, and then, for the second week, in Southern Ireland. The photo above shows them at the Kelpies in Falkirk.

This time Beverley came a few days before her walking friends to visit Suffolk, staying at the Old Cannon Brewery for a couple of nights. (She says it's very comfortable). After a day seeing the sights of Bury St. Edmunds, today I took her to Hadleigh to do a shortened version of this Hadleigh and Kersey walk, and Joyce came to join us. It was a bit of a drizzly day, but it didn't matter and Beverley enjoyed seeing some of the sights of Suffolk.

Only a couple of photos... we came across some pyramidal orchids...

..and then some bee orchids...

...and ended up visiting Kersey Mill twice - for coffee during our walk and then for lunch after we had finished.

Here are the two ladies.

That was a lovely convivial and leisurely day. Thanks to both for coming!
