U3A General Knowledge Quiz

This group with the local U3A only started recently. I missed the previous two, but today I made sure I got to it... if only to sharpen the brain for tomorrow's challenge .

It was indeed fun. There were 6 teams totalling 23 people. Our team played our joker on the "UK Counties" round and scored 10/10! We didn't do so well on the Animals round, where we were required to know about beetles and snakes (and didn't) and a couple of other topics. But we did OK and had a good time. And, furthermore, I got a nice pint of beer downstairs afterwards! I think I might go again.
