Last night I finished reading this new book, the first by one of my crossword pals David Jarvis. It was 25 years in the writing, but David retired last year and finally had the time to complete it and get it published.
I thought it a great read and stayed up until a couple of hours past the usual time I fall asleep to finish it. It reminded me a lot of books by the late John le Carré. Interesting characters and intrigue and a lovely plot twist at the end. Great stuff. Well done David!
