I mentioned that sister Kirsty had joined us for Day 1 and Day 2 of our East Devon trip. And here's why. She was the nominated guest for sister Sue at an award ceremony in Ilminster, just 20 miles from where we were staying last night so was able to come down in her camper van and stay over the night before.
The event was presentations from the Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset and Sue was receiving a Commendation for Meritorious Service for her long-standing contribution to the Combined Cadet Force as a Lieutenant-Commander in the Navy section.
