Today I attended this month's U3A Bury St. Edmunds monthly lecture at the Apex. As the scheduled speaker was ill, Barbara stood in at the last minute.
As the invite said:
"Prof. Barbara Wilson OBE was the founder of the Oliver Zangwill Centre for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation in Ely, Cambridgeshire. She was appointed an OBE for her work in brain injury rehabilitation over 40 years for "medical rehabilitation". She was a clinical psychologist, and is now retired.
She was shortlisted for a Lifetime Achievement Award in the NHS70 Parliamentary Awards in 2018 for her dedication to brain injury rehabilitation."

She gave us a good understanding of what Clinical Neuropsychology is about and the highlights of her long and illustrious career.
I particularly enjoyed her photograph of herself in Quito Ecuador, where a clinic had been established in her name, straddling the equator with one foot in each hemisphere.
A great talk from a world expert. Thank-you Barbara.
