Kitchen Replacement - Day 1

This was our kitchen as it looked this morning.

Everything cleared out ready for work to start. It looks quite spacious without all the usual clutter, doesn't it?

And the utility room...

But then fitter, 'Mr Magic', Tony and electrician Carl got to work and by 11am it looked like this...

By lunchtime even more had gone.

And here is what we were left with after they had finished for the day. We are left with the sink and dishwasher in the kitchen for now until the flooring gets done.

William said, "OMG. It looks like a student flat!".

And this is the utility room, with washing machine also left for now.

Meanwhile our dining room has become a kitchen/diner and we had our first microwave ready meals tonight.

More electrics from Carl tomorrow and then it plastering on Wednesday and Thursday. More anon.
