Today, after another 7:30 am start, James finished the plastering in the utility room by early afternoon.
After he was done, as we did yesterday, we opened the back door, patio door and window to let air blow through and help dry out the plaster. With luck, the ceiling and walls in the kitchen can be painted before the flooring work starts on Monday.
After 7pm, the doors and windows were closed and the heating has taking over the drying job. It is looking promising for Dawn to be able to start on the ceiling, and even the walls in the kitchen tomorrow. The plaster is dry when it has turned from the dark terracotta colour to a pale pink.
Even today's plaster in the utility room is drying out nicely. Well it was good drying weather today with a breeze blowing through the back door and out the patio door.
Update Saturday morning: Good to go for the ceiling and most of the walls.
There are just a few patches to dry on the wall by the window and patio door.
