Solar Together

I mentioned before that  I had signed up to Suffolk County Council's Solar Together initiative, a group-buying scheme for the installation of solar power panels.Last week we had our survey done and I've received the quotes. The plan is for 9 solar panels, which should generate up to 3 kW and a 7.1 kWh battery for storage.

The report also comes with plans for scaffolding and installation of the equipment in the garage.

We are going ahead and should get the system installed in the first half of March. The payback time on the investment is quite long, but it is our little contribution to saving the planet.
