Yey! Jazz night at the Hunter Club again last night. I had got a table for two. Dawn forgot we were going and didn't get home from school till 7:10, but we were in time to order drinks and a pizza before the start.
Pete Long didn't have the usual backing group (apart from Chris Ingham), with Paul Morgan on bass and Richard Pite on drums.
We had a front row table so had an excellent view.
Marvelous playing and great entertainment. Pete had us singing along to a couple of numbers and Richard had us laughing at his drum solo where he juggled his drumsticks as he drummed... and then had to replace the skin of his snare drum as he had put a hole in it. A lovely start to the weekend!
