Drummond Castle Gardens Charity Day

This afternoon, following the advice of the girl in the Art Gallery yesterday, we visited Drummond Castle Gardens. The Charity Open Day started at 1pm and we arrived shortly after.

It cost us £15 for a family ticket instead of the usual £10 per adult.

Here are a few of my photos.

The castle is not open to the public.

The gardens are magnificent, though.

There was some Scottish Country Dancing.

Sarah, William and Dawn all had a go at the archery.

This was Sarah's target after her 11 arrows. Hers was the best score.

There was also a brass band.

And the Comrie Pipe Band again.

We managed to beat this queue for the local Stewart Tower Dairy ice-creams.

Delicious!

Time to go to beat the rush to exit when it finishes at 4pm.

A lovely afternoon out in the sun with plenty of entertainment and beautiful surroundings.

You can see more of my photos and more video clips of the Comrie Pipe Band here on Flickr.
