Elephantasia revisited

When we did Elmer's Big Parade last month, I bought Glynn Thomas's lovely book about his Elephantasia elephant. Here are my photos of it...

...which don't really do it justice. But the book does, and I was glad I paid the £5 to get a copy.

And, furthermore, in the book there were puzzles to solve and a competition to enter...

"Within the artwork on Suffolk Elephantasia are nine hidden clues. Find as many of them as you can, along with the secret connection between the words, to have the chance to win a framed original print of ‘Aldeburgh Beach’ by Glynn Thomas (worth £385), along with an etching demonstration at his Suffolk studio.
If a single entry has found all the words (or the highest number of words) and the connection between them they will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, all entries with the highest number of found words will be entered into a draw and a winner will be selected at random."

When Laura was here she got started on trying to find the words and had got nearly half of them. Tonight I completed the job and submitted my answers online. Yes I found all 9 and the linking theme. I wonder how many others will? I was quite pleased to find the... spoiler alert!.... morse code, braille and pigpen code words... I'd better say no more. Fingers crossed.I would rather like to own the framed print of Aldburgh beach...

Lovely!
