Excellent concert. We enjoyed the ballads best, particularly Billy Strayhorn's Chelsea Bridge. (Hear the original here). Sarah and William, as string musicians, admired the Bass playing of Owen Morgan and I enjoyed the drumming of George Double. Chris was great on the piano as always and Alex is a top saxophonist.
Sarah of course will be back to York in a few weeks and William will be at West Suffolk Youth Orchestra on Friday nights, so we might not all be back for a while, but it was a great night out.
