Time to try my latest brew. It seems to be coming along well! A nice creamy start followed by a long deep fruity malt flavour with hints of bread, caramel and honey. It goes down very smoothly. Just as well it's only a little bottle. It's deceptively innocuous for a 9% ABV brew, but it went to the head quite quickly. No more than 1 bottle at a time, I think.
Plenty more to come, but it could do with a bit more bottle-conditioning for the flavours to properly combine. It should be really good by Easter, I reckon.
Simon - I owe you a bottle for that tremendous crossword!
