St Andrews Day Celebration

Today we had our traditional St. Andrew's Day celebratory dinner.




Haggis, tatties and neeps with baked beans and brown sauce. Yum! And afterwards we had a little whisky tasting.


Johnny Walker Red Label was my grandfather Willy's favourite whisky. When asked how liked his whisky served his answer would be "50:50 whisky and water... and don't be sparing with the water".

We saved the Glenturret for Christmas, but tried the other 3. I liked the Auchentoshan, but Dawn preferred the Tamnavulin. Maybe we'' get a different one for Christma?
