Apple Brandy Batch#4

Time to make some more Christmas boozy gifts - I thought I'd do some more Apple Brandy. As before, I used Henry Weston Vintage cider as my base and managed to fit in my two stripping runs and the spirit run in 1 day.

All ready to go...

The spirit run was in the evening, so it was dark outside. I added 100ml vodka to my 857ml at 29% ABV from my stripping runs.

And here is the result, 446ml @ 60% ABV. It smells and tastes great!

This time I will use a lot less oak chips and dilute it on Sunday to blend with last time's output, which I think is a bit over-oaked.
