Gin Tasting

I said we would do this today before dinner... a tasting of the latest gin in comparison with some others.

They are, from right to left (and the order in which we tasted them), Hollow and Bourne, the Sainsbury's basic gin, used to make my sloe gin, Tanquerey, my 2nd June batch, Friday's batch and my July batch. We used the Tanquerey bottle cap as a measure and had a capful of each, served on a bunch of ice cubes, letting each melt a bit of water into it before tasting.

We made notes as we went along.

Conclusion? My latest is the best. I must make some more so none of the brother and sisters will miss out at Christmas. They all like their gin, I think.
